So far only a prototype version of this device has been used by the Prussian Airfleet, and unfortunately this was destroyed following a Dogfight between the vessel it was housed in and the Sir Galahad, the defender of British Airspace. The Airship carrying the Generator was above the Prussian Embassy in London, and had been used to launch an attack on the British Library causing considerable damage to the buildings structure.

The device generates a field that acts as a defractive bubble surrounding whatever it is centered upon and bending light around this bubble using projected gravitational distortion. Whilst this creates a visual phenomenon comparable to a heat haze, this renders an item virtually invisible when generated against a uniform background thus is perfect for ariel deployment in either unclouded or grey skys. It is thus far more noticable when viewed overhead with the ground as a backdrop, or when viewed against scattered cloud formations. Similarly, the defraction is also more noticable when the field is moving compared to when it is stationary, thus is it neither suitable for fast moving vessels or for ground based vessels. It seems that, should the device be redeployed, it will remain on the slow moving Prussian Airships. The Generator is of such a size that it is unlikely a personal generator could be created without much redesign.

The wreckage of the salvaged vessel bearing the Generator currently lies within the Crapper/Flightmaster Industries Warehouse, but they are unfamiliar with the design and so are unable to recreate it from the jigsaw of parts that lies before them.
