Subterranean Air Pump
The first and most famed invention of Squire Richards, the Dwarven inventor and owner of several mines upon his landholdings in Cornwall. An invention that shows the altruistic nature of its inventors, Squire Richard created this to improve the safty of the miners who worked the mines. Capable of extracting both noxious and explosive gases as well as liquids that might potentially flood a mine, the pump supplied and circulated breathable air in its place, and was capable of pumping with enough force to reach the depths of the deepest excavation, meaning that, even in the event of a mine collapse, enough oxygen would continue being supplied to allow rescuers to reach anyone trapped beyond the collapse.
