Rotary Elephant Gun

Availability:  Unique Item

Description:

This is a gadgetech device created by Thomas Crapper after his success with his conventional elephant gun.  It  is a one shot per round weapon fed by an ammo belt off a x25 shot ammo drum clipped to Crapper's belt.  It therefore does not require reloading after every shot which was the main drawback to Crapper's original elephant gun.  The first salvo would be quite impressive but Crapper would then be left vunerable as he frantically attempted to reload his weapon.

This new gun consists of three barrels which rotate as each shot is fired, once the firing barrel is discharged a preloaded barrel is rotated into its place.  This multi-barreled design prevents the gun overheating but adds to the overall weight of the gun.  This means that Crapper normal uses it slung from a shoulder harness, firing the gun from his hip.

Extensive field trials under hazardous conditions have proven the worth of Crapper's innovative design.  Whether under attack by Prussian special forces or gigantic Mongolian Death Worms the one shot stopping power of this weapon has more than compensated for Crappers mediocre marksmanship skill.

It also comes in a fetching canvas case with a carry handle so as not to startle the natives.

History:  Crapper has taken to carrying his faithful rotary elephant gun with him on all his most recent adventures and it has proven itself to be a most useful travel companion on Crappers frequent incursions into danger.   The design has proven to be so robust and successful that the Regular Crappers who patrol the grounds of Crappers premises can be seen carrying them as they attend to their duties.
